KITSEN Technologies and products applied to Matarbari Ultra Super Critical Coal-Fired Power Project in Bangladesh - 2021-07-10

Super Critical Coal-Fired Power Project is a super infrastructure project of 2021.

The objective of the Project is to achieve the stable electricity supply in Bangladesh by constructing a coal fired power plant and related facilities in Chattogram region, thereby contributing to sustainable economic growth of Bangladesh.

With the advancement of self-owned brand product technology and advantage of integrated construction solution, together with one-stop technical support service on site, KITSEN has the honor of being main formwork and scaffolding supplier for this project.

The total height of construction is 21.5m with 3 layers. The 1st layer height is 5.5m with 500mm slab thickness. The 2nd layer is 8m high with 1250mm slab thickness. The 3rd layer height is 8m with 2400mm slab thickness. The super loading capacity requests for high strength of formwork and scaffolding.

Based on local strict industrial standard, through accurate loading capacity calculation and stress analysis by KITEN professional technical team, we finally choose the three-dimensional adjustable decking system and K100 wall and column formwork system which are invented by KITSEN.

The three-dimensional adjustable decking system shorts for 3D decking system. It features for its flexible size adjustment on length, width and height which is realized by adjusting the main beam and sub beam and vertical post. The vertical post is made of Q345 steel pipe in 60mm diameter with ringlock disk design as shoring support. It helps to reach 19meters high to support the 2.4m slab thickness for concrete pouring.

The K100 wall and column formwork is made of aluminum alloy as panel frame and 12mm thickness birch plywood. With the drilled hole design on frame rib, the standard size panel can make flexible adjustment by composing panels together. For this project, the maximum panel size of 3000 x 600 mm are chosen to compose as huge column size and reach the column height in 5m for one-time pouring. The loading capacity of K100 can reach 60KN/m2.

All these formworks and scaffold are easy for installation and dismantle which requires less lobar to achieve. It saves the labor cost. With it light weight design, standard size design and modular shape or bar shape deign, it largely brings convenience for material management on site and storage and transportation.
